Before BADREP77 was a brand, there was Seven-Seven.

Built in a backroom lab somewhere along the West Coast, Seven-Seven wasn't exactly programmed to fit in. While other robots were being taught efficiency, productivity, and how to make sensible decisions, Seven-Seven discovered sports cards.

That pretty much ruined everything.

He spent every spare credit ripping packs, chasing rookies, digging through dollar bins, making questionable trades, and holding onto cards everyone else told him weren't worth keeping.

Sometimes they were right.

Sometimes they were very, very wrong.

Either way, Seven-Seven didn't care. Because somewhere along the way, he figured out what collectors already know:

It's the hunt.

It's finding a card you forgot existed. It's pulling the player you wanted as a kid. It's discovering something buried in a bargain box that everyone else walked past. It's saying one more pack when you absolutely know you're opening three.

It's the card you paid $3 for that you'd never sell for $300 because you remember exactly where you got it.

That's collecting.

Seven-Seven is a little rebellious, a little sarcastic, occasionally irrational, and permanently convinced the next pack has something ridiculous hiding inside it.

And then there are the Garbage Pail Kids.

We don't really talk about that.

Nobody knows exactly when the obsession started. Seven-Seven refuses to explain himself. We've learned to leave it alone.

But underneath all of it, Seven-Seven believes something pretty simple:

The kid buying his first $3 card belongs here.

The collector chasing a $30,000 grail belongs here.

The person who hasn't bought a card in twenty years but suddenly sees the player they collected with their dad belongs here.

The bargain box digger belongs here.

The rookie hunter belongs here.

The ripper. The trader. The investor. The lifelong collector who swears they're done buying cards and somehow has another package arriving Thursday.

You're our people.

That's what became BADREP77.

Not a place built around showing off who has the most expensive collection.

A place built around people who still understand why collecting is fun in the first place.

We hunt.

We trade.

We rip.

We collect.

We occasionally make terrible decisions.

And we come back because somewhere out there is always one more card worth finding.

So if you've ever dug through a box way longer than you intended...

Bought a card because it reminded you of being ten years old...

Opened one more pack when you promised yourself you were finished...

Or stared at a completely unnecessary card and thought,

"Yeah... I need that."

You're already one of us.
